The MOU was signed by MMDA acting chair Carlo Dimayuga III, JoyRide PH Vice President Jerico Meneses, and Angkas Chief Executive Officer George Royeca at the MMDA headquarters in Makati City. In a memorandum, MMDA acting chair Carlo Dimayuga III said wearing face masks protects individuals not only from Covid-19 but also from pollution. "All employees are urged to wear masks even outdoors, especially field personnel, for their own protection," Dimayuga said. The memorandum also called on MMDA personnel to keep strict adherence to minimum health protocols such as physical distancing. Dimayuga also encouraged the public to keep wearing face masks outdoors and in open spaces.
