HAVILAND – Leading by three with just over two minutes left in the first half, the Wayne Trace Lady Raiders closed the second quarter by scoring 11 straight points and pulled away from there for a 58-37 victory over visiting Continental Tuesday night.
A Sydnee Sinn bucket ignited the run, which was then continued with baskets from Rachel Stoller and Sinn to turn a 22-19 lead into a 28-19 advantage.

CONVOY – A dominant second quarter and an outstanding effort from Laci McCoy were enough to lift the Crestview Lady Knights to a 44-40 win over visiting Wayne Trace in the annual girls basketball rivalry game Monday in Convoy.
McCoy posted a double-double in leading the way for Crestview, finishing with 11 points, 14 rebounds, four assists and six steals in the contest.
Lady Knight head coach Mark Gregory was pleased with the effort from his sophomore forward.
“Laci had an outstanding game tonight,” commented the Crestview mentor. “She did a good job of taking what they gave her and she went to the rim to score and to rebound all night long. It was her best game of the season.”
