David Burns was arrested on Tuesday and charged with second-degree murder in the decades-old killing of Courtney Coco, People confirmed on Thursday. The 19-year-old victim was last seen by her mother at her West Sandy Bayou home in October 2004.
The teen’s decomposed remains were discovered just two days later and her 1999 Pontiac Bonneville was found in Houston the following week. Her belongings, including the white lab coat she wore to work at a dentist office, were still inside, NBC reported.
