Personnel with the Unicoi County Animal Shelter are anxiously monitoring the progress of budget talks by the Town of Erwin, Town of Unicoi and Unicoi County Commission.
Friends and supporters of the Unicoi County Animal Shelter gathered Friday, March 31, in a meeting room at Erwin Town Hall for a chili cook-off to benefit the shelter.
