Carl Tucker Goes Undrafted, Signs With the Dolphins
After not being selected in the 2021 NFL Draft, Alabama grad-transfer tight end Carl Tucker has been signed by the Miami Dolphins.
Weighing in at 248 pounds and standing tall at 6-foot-2, Tucker is a tall, strong tight end. In an interview with “The Draft Network,” Tucker acknowledged his “physicality” as one of his best traits.
“I hang my hat on my physicality. I don’t think there are many tight ends in this draft class that are as physical and dominant at the line of scrimmage as I am,” Tucker said. “I feel like my physicality and explosive abilities are unmatched.”

DeVonta Smith has a monster projection that leaves everyone else in this draft class in the dust. Smith’s projection is all the more impressive considering that he gets a significant penalty for entering the draft as a senior. Smith is Playmaker’s highest projected senior wide receiver ever, and it is not even close. That spot had previously belonged to former Buffalo Bills wide receiver Lee Evans, whose projection was more than 100 yards/season lower than Smith’s.
