Kathleen was born in Brainerd, MN on June 17, 1950 to William and Elva (Oakes) Sears. She Passed away on September 18, 2022. She was a graduate of Brainerd High School class of 1968. She went on to have a long career as a secretary all while raising a daughter as a military wife. She retired and divorced, then even went on to have a career as a semi truck driver. Kathy never knew a stranger and was always there for family and friends when they were in need. She loved spending the holidays with her daughter and taking her Grandson Fishing! She enjoyed hobbies of painting and candle making. Kathy is survived by her partner in life Carl Pointer, her daughter Victoria (John) Owens, and her grandson Dakota Owens. She is preceded in death by her Parents William and Elva Sears, her sisters Carol Wgeishofski, Wilma Sears, and her brothers Lewis, Robert and Billy. At Kathy’s request no services will be held.
