25-acre tomato/strawberry greenhouse expansion for Ontario grower
With the increasing demand for locally grown greenhouse produce, DelFrescoPure® announces phase 1 its 25-acre greenhouse production expansion. The expansion will be in full production by September 2021 to fulfill demand for Ontario greenhouse-grown tomatoes and strawberries for 2021-2022 winter production.
“With the demand for locally grown Ontario greenhouse tomatoes, DelFrescoPure® is leveraging that demand with expansion plans. We’re planning three phases to keep up with consumer demand for tomatoes and strawberries,” said Carl Mastronardi, president of Del Fresco Produce Ltd.
