On Friday, October 20th, 2023 the St. Cloud State Huskies who ranked 13th in the nation faced off against the number 2 team in the nation Concordia St. Paul Golden Bears. The Huskies won the first set and lost the second. However, they would rebound and take the next two sets for a 4-1 win with 11 Service Aces on the night
After St. Cloud State won the first set, the Bulldogs came roaring back in the second and won the second and third sets. The fourth set was close once again but Duluth would go on to win while Kenzie Foley tied the St. Cloud State single game kill record with 32 kills.

The St. Cloud State Huskies finished their first tournament of the season with a 3-1 tournament record (7-1 overall
