Just nine minutes before the midnight deadline, the deal to end the dual dilemmas arrived at the white house. President obamas signature moments later marked the official end of the Government Shutdown and raised the debt ceiling. Last night on capitol hill, the deal passed easily out of the senate and then through the house largely with democratic support. The president praised congress for finally reaching an agreement.
