Jackson, TN – U.S. Marshal Tyreece Miller announces the capture of Sonny Hudson, Jr., age 19, of Decaturville, TN, and a juvenile, age 17, from Clifton, TN, for Attempted First Degree Murder and Especially Aggravated Robbery. On September 5, 2022, at 3:45 a.m., the Jackson Police Department responded to shots fired at the Casey Jones Motel located at 1963 Highway 45 By-Pass in Jackson. Dinarric Woods was found with a life-threatening stab wound and James Theus had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. After the attack, a suspect took property from one of the victim’s vehicles. Jackson Police Investigators determined that Sonny Hudson and a 17-year-old were allegedly responsible. Jackson police issued an arrest warrant and a juvenile petition for the suspects.
