INTA members met with major government officials and the private sector to discuss ways to strengthen ties in Latin America and the Caribbean, including working together to combat counterfeiting, curb brand restrictions, and raise awareness of the value of intellectual property.
In a region where the protection of intellectual property varies broadly among countries, INTA’s Latin America and the Caribbean Representative Office is effectively advancing the Association’s policy agenda and working with key stakeholders to promote a more efficient IP rights system in the region.
