Hospital very rattled by the incident this afternoon. They were told by police to stay inside their homes until that possible suspect was taken into custody. Now, when Police Responded to the 911 call this afternoon, they found a man shot to death in the backyard of the home. Then once they entered the home, they found the female victim. She, too, had been shot. She was transported to the hospital where she is in critical condition. The s. W. A. T. Team moved in, the Armored Vehicle moved in, many first responders. The s. W. A. T. Team went inside that house, but there was no violent confrontation at that time. We are told that the alleged suspect surrendered peacefully. One of the most frightening things about this, there were children inside that house, several children. They fortunately, though, are all safe. We t spokeswoman. And we have breaking news where we are learning that three High School Students are dead. This is a real tragic story out of damascus. We have confirmed that three students from Clarksburg High School have died after this crash on burnt hill road. You can see right there, that is the truck. You cant really recognize it after it slammed into a tree and then was overtaken by flames. The three victims as you mentioned were students. We are still working to find out more about them. Off metro property on Garden Center drive on thursday. Just the very thought that somebody was already attacked or followed from this station to work, it is kind of unnerving. It is definitely a concerning matter. I mean, more safety has to happen. For metro trains, more police need to be around. It began near the front door with a gun battle between omar mateen and an offduty Police Officer working security at the club. Additional officers responded. They made entry while the suspect was shooting, engaged in another gun battle with the suspect, forced him to stop shooting and retreat to the bathroom. Reporter that was the start of a threehour standoff and the dialogue between mateen and police. There were three total calls. During the calls, he said he was doing this for the leader of isil, but he also appeared to claim solidarity with the perpetrators of the Boston Marathon bombing. Reporter but the tone of the conversation quickly intensified. There was talk about bomb vests, about explosives. Reporter thats when s. W. A. T. Team members moved in using explosives and heavy equipment to tear a hole in the wall of the club. Dozens of survivors rushed out.
