THE tormented family of a missing 15-year-old feared murdered by Fred West are very sad police found no body buried under a cafe.
The latest development means the mystery surrounding Mary Bastholm s 53-year disappearance continues.

The schoolgirl was last seen on 6 January 1968 waiting for a bus to go and see her boyfriend.
She is believed to have been murdered by depraved Fred West, who was a regular at the Clean Plate cafe in Gloucester where she worked as a waitress, but police have found no remains.

FRED West s son told police his serial killer dad admitted murdering teenage schoolgirl Mary Bastholm.
Stephen West claims his father confessed to killing the 15-year-old cafe worker and 30 other women before hanging himself ahead of his trial.

Police have today continued digging just half a mile from Fred West’s notorious Cromwell Street home.
They are excavating the basement of the Clean Plate Cafe where she worked as a waitress and the serial killer was a regular customer.
