Am 17. Dezember war das Raumschiff mit einer sicheren Landung in der Inneren Mongolei zur Erde zurückgekehrt. Nach der Landung wurden die Reissetzlinge in einem speziell eingerichteten Gewächshaus des National Plant Space Breeding Engineering Technology Research Center, das an der Südchinesischen Universität für Agrarwissenschaft angesiedelt wurde, gebracht.
