Following his meeting with vice chancellors of various universities via a videoconference, state minister for higher and technical education,
Uday Samant, declared a few fee waivers for college students for 2021-22. While the meeting concluded with the decision to reduce fees, details of the same are still awaited.
In a video-conference held on Monday, the decision regarding fee reduction was taken because of the continuing pandemic and the adverse effects it has on the finances of individuals. After the meeting, Samant took to Twitter to announce the decision they reached.
