HARRISBURG - Gov. Tom Wolf has approved a new, permanent child care tax credit that will allow families to claim thousands of dollars in benefits.
The new tax credit was created as part of Pennsylvani.
A new Pennsylvania tax credit will allow eligible families to recoup up to 30% of their child care expenses when filing taxes beginning in 2023. Under the Child and Dependent Care Enhancement Program, families who claim one child dependent on their taxes can receive up to $3,000. Those claiming two or more dependents can receive up to $6,000.
