MILTON, ON - This Saturday, September 30, the Ontario Sires Stakes Grassroots Championships will bring big harness racing fields of two and three-year-old trotting and pacing talent to Woodbine Mohawk Park for eight $75,000 finals. Following up a night freshman photo finishes on Thursday, the three-year-olds took their turn in the Ontario Sires Stakes Grassroots semi-finals on Friday, Sept. 22 at Woodbine Mohawk Park and the favourites ran the show.
One favourite found themselves defeated and the other disqualified in a pair of Ontario Sires Stakes (OSS) Gold divisions for three-year-old trotting fillies at Rideau Carleton Raceway on Sunday night (July 16).
Prohibitive 1-9 favourite Righteous Resolve, Canada’s fastest trotting two-year-old of 2022, once again showed her class in taking her division's $225,000 Ontario Sires Stakes (OSS) Gold Super Final on Saturday night (Oct. 15) at Woodbine Mohawk Park.
