CLEMSON, S.C. - Head Coach Stephen Fazier Wong and the Clemson Rowing program announced Wednesday its 2024 Spring Schedule. Joining Head Coach Stephen Frazier Wong, Associate Head Coach Ted Nagorsen, Assistant Coach Mandy Merritt, and Graduate Assistant Coach Ciera Devenuto-Wyeth this season is recently hired Assistant Coach Amy Hildebrandt. Leading the Tigers this season are captains Caroline Emerson and Kristen Dutkin. Julia Walsh, Amelia Anglin and Abby Dutton join Emerson and Dutkin to make up the 2023-2024 Leadership Council. The Tigers enter the 2024 Spring Season following a successful fall season where they raced in the Head of the Oklahoma and the Secret City Head Race. At the Head of the Oklahoma, Clemson’s Varsity Eights took home first place and its Novice 8+ defeated all four Tennessee boats to win first place at the Secret City Head Race. Clemson will open its spring season with two home races on Lake Hartwell, starting with the Carolina Cup on Saturday, March 2nd

New Bemen prepares for graduation

NEW BREMEN – The New Bremen Board of Education heard about plans for the graduating seniors, scheduling updates on the upcoming prom and about the arrival of donated Komminsk sculptures to the school campus.
The board officially approved for graduation the list of 55 seniors of the 2020-21 class, pending each student’s attainment of the required number of end-of course exam points and the successful completion of the courses and/or credits as established by the State of Ohio or the New Bremen Local Schools.
Superintendent Jason Schrader said he was glad the senior class stayed in full-time sessions for this school year.
2021 Rowing Preview
Clemson, S.C. The Clemson rowing team made its return to the course for the first time in 364 days when it hosted the Carolina Cup on March 6. This season, the Tigers are scheduled to compete in seven races, three of which the Tigers will host. Additionally, Clemson will host the ACC Championship for the 12th consecutive season and 19
th time overall.
The 2020 rowing schedule was canceled on March 12, 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic following the conclusion of the Tigers’ first race of the spring season, the Carolina Cup. At the Carolina Cup in 2020, the Tigers posted their best point total since 2017.
