The man who confronted police with a gun during a code enforcement check at his Eagleville, Pennsylvania, home died in an explosive house fire, authorities in Montgomery County said Friday.
A code enforcement officer doing a a follow-up inspection at Cardin Place was threatened by an armed resident and when police arrived, explosions rang out.
The body of Thomas Razzi, 66, was recovered late Thursday from the rubble of his burned down home after authorities say a standoff led to a series of explosions, and large fire that destroyed three townhomes.
