The Wi-FI Alliance says Wi-Fi 7 could provide speeds of "at least 30" gigabits per second (Gbps) and should exceed that to reach 40Gbps, which is the same speed as Thunderbolt 3.
MediaTek demonstrated that WiFi 7 can go at part with Thunderbolt when it comes to speed. WiFi 7 technology can reportedly render faster speeds than WiFi 6, according to the latest demo by Taiwanese semiconductor company MediaTek.
