Kristian De Silva Sascha Wil­son While many peo­ple were re­lax­ing with fam­i­ly and friends yes­ter­day, a 55-year-old grand­moth­er was patch­ing pot­holes in front of her Gas­par­il­lo home. Shov­el­ling dirt from a wheel­bar­row, Di­anne Forbes filled the holes that have been a haz­ard to mo­torists us­ing Caratal Road, near Bhag­wans­ingh Trace, Gas­par­il­lo, for al­most two months.

Missing teen found

Janice Pryce 14, of Caratal Road, Cumuto, who was reported missing to the police on March 12th, has been found. On Monday 15th March 2021, Janice was found at the home of a friend. The teenager appeared to be in good health. The Child Protection Unit(CPU) is continuing investigations into this matter. TAGS

Teen found, 3 other people missing

Teen found, 3 other people missing Monday 21 December 2020 THE police reported on the weekend that three people have gone missing while a teen who was previously reported missing, had been found and is now safe.  San Juan resident Shania Applewhite, 16, of Bagatelle Road, who was reported missing on Friday December 11, has been found. She visited the Penal Police Station on Saturday and stated that she was in good health. Officers of the Child Protection Unit are continuing enquiries and the Children’s Authority has been contacted. A police press release stated that this was the second time Shania had been reported missing after disappearing in September only to be subsequently found.

Mom begs missing Gasparillo teen to come home

Salem Thompson has been reported missing since last week Sunday. With Christmas just a few days away, a Gasparillo mother is begging her 16-year-old son to return home. Esther Brown of Caratal Road, believes her son Salem Thompson ran away from home a week after she told him he could not attend a party. Brown adopted Thompson when he was two months old. She said he was last seen last Sunday by her daughter Christell Brown. “I left home to go to the market and he walked out of the house. Christell saw him when he left. She did not ask him where he was going,” Brown said, Asked whether it was customary for him to leave home without telling anyone, Brown said yes.
