2 cups walnuts, chopped
Spray a 9x13 pan with nonstick cooking spray.
To make the crust & crumble:
In a medium sized bowl, mix together the melted butter, oats, flour, brown sugar, baking soda and salt until a cookie dough is formed.
Press half of the mixture into the bottom of the prepared 9 x 13 pan.
Bake in the oven for 12 minutes.
Caramel sauce:
While the cookie crust is cooking, in a double boiler melt the caramels and whipping cream together until melted.
Remove from heat.
