Originally announced shortly after the release of the iPhone 12, Moment s MagSafe-enabled line of photography-oriented mounts is finally shipping, and they are worth the wait.
There are several parts of the Moment M(Force) MagSafe system. Moment offers a wall mount, a car vent mount, a cold shoe mount, a tripod mount, a tripod cold shoe mount, a portrait/landscape tripod cold shoe mount, then a multi-threaded mount. Not to mention several different cases.
We took a look at the wall mount, the portrait/landscape tripod with a cold shoe, the cold shoe mount, and the landscape tripod.
All of Moment s gear is similar in design to one another, just with different functionality. They all have a stainless steel disc for attaching to the iPhone, with a matte black finish.

With the launch of the iPhone 12 range, Apple brought back a feature we ve all missed: MagSafe. Except it s not quite in the form we remember.
In its original iteration, MagSafe was a nifty way to keep the charging cable secured to a MacBook. The new version of MagSafe allows your iPhone 12 to magnetically snap into place on its wireless charging pad - which means your phone will get properly charged each time, without you having to fuss around to ensure it s on the sweet spot.

Getting a MagSafe car charger for your iPhone seems like a simple process, but the current landscape is one of trade-offs: there are no all-in-one solutions that will wirelessly hold and charge your phone
and are MagSafe certified to provide up to 15W of power. However, manufactures have been finding workarounds.
First, there’s Belkin’s Car Vent Mount Pro, which is the only MagSafe Certified car mount, and it sells for $39.99. Being certified doesn’t mean it provides power, though. You’ll have to plug your phone in with a Lightning cable (which you’d have to do anyway for wired CarPlay compatibility). This does technically let you charge your phone faster than regular wireless charging, but it leaves you messing around with a cable.
