Delnor to host Summer Bike Rodeo and car seat safety check July 10 Northwestern Medicine will offer bike helmet fittings at a Bike Rodeo on Saturday, July 10. Courtesy of Northwestern Medicine   Updated 7/9/2021 5:01 PM On Saturday, July 10, Northwestern Medicine and the Kane County Safety Coalition are offering a bike rodeo and car seat safety check from 10 a.m. to noon. The free event will take place in the southwest parking lot at Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital, 300 Randall Road in Geneva. The bike rodeo will include a bike safety check, safety stations, helmet fittings and a raffle. Participants are invited to ride through a bicycle obstacle course. Safety stations will provide information on proper hand signals, situational awareness and more. Participants should bring a bike and bike helmet and wear closed-toe shoes. The Batavia Bicycle Commission and Cykel Cycles bike shop are lending a helping hand.
