Woman to hospital after car rolls, smashes into tree

Premium Content Subscriber only A woman in her 40s was taken to hospital after a car rolled into a Coast front yard and hit a tree. Emergency services rushed to the scene along Mons Rd in Forest Glen where a car rolled into a tree situated in a front yard about 11:15am Monday. A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said critical care paramedics assessed a woman in her 40s. A woman in her 40s was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital after her car rolled into a tree along Mons Rd in Forest Glen.   She was complaining of neck and abdominal pain and was taken to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

Coast bridge blocked after car and dump truck crash

Premium Content Update 2pm One patient has been taken to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital after a dump truck and car crashed along a major Coast road. A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said the patient was in a stable condition. She said a second patient declined transport. A Queensland police spokeswoman said police were no longer conducting traffic control and had left the scene. Fire crews have also left the scene. Update 1:19pm Two patients are being assessed by paramedics and traffic is being diverted after a dump truck and car crashed on a Minyama bridge. A Fire and Emergency spokeswoman said a crew was on the scene of a crash where a dump truck and a car had collided on McKenzie Bridge along Brisbane Road about 12:35pm.

Emergency services rushed to Nambour Connection Rd after reports of a single car crash at 8.45am Thursday morning. It was bloody scary … it rolled twice, the resident, who wanted to remain anonymous, said. A woman in her 70s was treated for suspected spinal and head injuries after a car rollover. Queensland Fire and Emergency Services Nambour station officer Jason Evans said the woman crashed after attempting to pull into a driveway. It appears the woman has gone to turn into a driveway, and she s missed the driveway and gone down an embankment and rolled her vehicle, he said.

Premium Content UPDATE 8/01/2021 8.15AM: A man is in a stable condition after a single-vehicle rollover on the Dawson Highway on Thursday afternoon.  Paramedics treated a man and a woman 20km east of Biloela about 4.20pm.  A Queensland Health Service spokeswoman said the man was in a stable condition at the Gladstone Hospital. UPDATE 7/01/2021 (5.28pm):  A man is in a serious condition after a single-vehicle rollover on the Dawson Highway on Thursday afternoon.  Paramedics were called 20km east of Biloela about 4.20pm.  A Queensland Ambulance Services spokeswoman said two people, a man and a woman, were taken to Biloela Hospital.  She said the woman was in a stable condition, however, the man was in a serious condition with spinal injuries. 

Car bursts into flames after crash on town s main street

Premium Content Subscriber only EMERGENCY services attended a vehicle fire in a coastal town on Monday afternoon after a driver lost control of their vehicle. Richmond Police District Acting Inspector Bernadette Ingram said the vehicle crashed, rolled and caught fore before stopping near the he Caltex service station on River St, Woodburn. Act Inso Ingram said four officers attended the motor vehicle accident (MVA) which occurred in the main street of Woodburn and closed one lane to traffic. The incident occurred at 14.43pm on Monday, December 28, Act Insp Ingram said. The male driver may have been fatigued, he has been treated by ambulance crew and is being taken to Lismore Base Hospital in a stable condition.
