inches of snow on its way today. give us a sense as you look out the window. what are you seeing there? reporter: hi good to see you, looking outside our weather car cam, you can see that actually the traffic is probably heavier than the snow is right now. but the snow was hitting a nice level and visibility was down but now it seems to have stopped a little. it is coming there s going to be quite a considerable amount coming towards this area. if you look at the radar, you can see it s moving towards the new york area and it is going to be significant. but nothing that s going to be boston level. i think new yorkers can handle the situation. and most new yorkers i ve spoken to are like forget about it is what they say here. in terms of the local area airport, there s already for inbound flights almost a three-hour delay which seems almost incredible considering there s hardly any snow on the ground but i think it is going to get worse later on.
