Spring has sprung in downtown Holland
HOLLAND After a snowy February, retailers in downtown Holland are debuting their new inventory as the weather marches closer to spring.
Much of the fallen snow continued to melt this week, and temperatures are expected to climb into the mid-50s next week.
Business owners are ready for the change. Holland Clock Co. is showcasing wooden tulips, while a window display at Holland Peanut Store holds more than a dozen Easter baskets.
Seasonal businesses will also begin to open this week, starting with Captain Sundae s Holland and Zeeland locations at 365 Douglas Ave. and 537 W. Main Ave., respectively, on Friday, March 5.
