In 2019, Leabetswe Bomvana's corporate career was soaring when she discovered she had a tumour in her brain, but that has not stopped her from forging forward.
It all started in 2014 when she bought her first car at 28, so she could start a shuttle business. Business boomed until it all crumbled a few years later.
Being first is not enough for her, despite being first in nearly every role she has occupied. Her passion is all about challenging stereotypes and unlocking the ocean economy.
