If you watch The Crown, you will know that they portray Camilla as a pantomime villain, the wicked witch of the Cotswolds. I watch the news, where happily the Duchess of Cornwall comes across as exactly what she is: a really good egg. Apart from the present Queen, I reckon that Camilla is the royal who has had the best pandemic.

Helen & Douglas House hospice in Oxfordshire, inviting them to decorate the glittering tree in her hallway – with help from her assistant equerry, Captain Charlie Ross of the 1st Battalion Welsh Guards.

Speaking before the Prime Minister announced millions would move into a stricter tier on Sunday, Camilla also said families would have to find the “safest way” to celebrate Christmas during the holidays.
The duchess’ comments were made on Wednesday after her annual Christmas tree decorating event with children and families supported by Helen and Douglas House children’s hospice.
Camilla and the Prince of Wales will celebrate Christmas at Highgrove, their Gloucestershire home, after the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh decided to forego the traditional royal gathering at Sandringham and enjoy the festive period “quietly” as a couple at Windsor Castle.
