massacre unfolded. the reality is generally speaking,you know, newspaper facilities to my knowledge have a fairly robust security program, whether it s physical security, armed or unarmed augmented by cameras. in this exact situation based on the known facts, it wasn t sufficient to thwart the attack. we re all very sad. yeah, you know, the shoots was centered at this capitol gazette, a newspaper owned by the baltimore sun. focused on local news. they do have an editorial page. they were backing certain candidates. we don t know the motive of the shooter. we do know that he came in and just started shooting. we don t know if he was targeting anybody. just that he started shooting when he got in. that doesn t tell you much.
to understand if the shooter was familiar to its victims or any of those victims or those in the newsroom of the capitol gazette. the guy was apprehended by police. he didn t kill himself as is sometimes the case with these shooters. he was taken down, i would assume, surrendered to police on the scene. what do you make of that. we have to take our hats off to the first responders. they ve been on the scene in a matter of minutes. the big question is, why this target, why this location. my concern are copycats out
