Concord Police have arrested a woman charged with stealing from tip jars around downtown Concord. Police arrested 44-year-old Aviva Kollangi on Thursday morning and charged her with five counts of unauthorized theft by taking or transfer and one count.
A thief has been targeting downtown businesses’ tip jars for the past two months, police said on Wednesday. During January and February, Concord Police have responded to multiple calls about tip jar theft, according to a statement from the Concord.
