The Pioneers close out the softball regular season with a home doubleheader against Capital University on Sunday, May 5. The first game begins at 1:00 p.m.

After opening with losses to Ithaca and Geneseo, Brockport has won seven straight including avenging one of those losses this week.
Heather Conklin tied a career high with seven goals to lead the Golden Eagles to a 15-7 win over Geneseo to get a busy week started. They added two more wins over the weekend to keep their streak going. Conklin also had an assist and six draw controls against Geneseo, while Morgan Elmer was stellar in goal with 17 saves to tie her career high. Courtney Cunningham added four goals.

After beating Brockport in their opener, the Knights struggled in the rematch for their only big loss of the season. They trailed 9-5 at halftime and couldn’t recover, four days after a narrow, one-goal defeat in double overtime against St. John Fisher. Hannah Marafioti scored four goals in the 15-7 loss to Brockport.
