Virginia Senator Mark Warner was in the Shenandoah Valley today for socially-distanced events with community and business leaders.
After being in Winchester Tuesday morning, Warner spoke to restaurant owners, brewers and other food service officials at Capital Ale House in downtown Harrisonburg this afternoon.
Warner said the American Rescue Plan, now signed into law, establishes a $28.6 billion Restaurant Revitalization Fund to provide grants to help restaurants, craft breweries, and bars across Virginia.
Warner also stopped at Blue Ridge Community College where he met with school president Dr. John Downey as well as Dr. Johnathan Alger, President of James Madison University to get an update on the region’s bio-manufacturing partnership program.
