JOHANNESBURG - The Democratic Alliance (DA) said that it planned to lay a formal criminal complaint against embattled Health Minister Zweli Mkhize over a dodgy multi-million rand contract involving his department.

The Special Investigating Unit (SIU) says its ongoing investigation into the awarding of a multimillion-rand contract to The Digital Vibes, a company linked to Health Minister Zweli Mkhize, has reached a “critical” stage.

CAPE TOWN - Alleged gang underworld boss Nafiz Modack’s defence has complained about prison conditions.
Modack and Anti-Gang Unit officer Ashley Tabisher appeared in the Bishop Lavis Magistrates Court earlier on Monday morning.
The corruption case against Modack and Tabisher has been transferred to the Blue Downs Regional Court.
