SANDWICH A man was seriously injured in a rollover crash Friday evening on Route 130, according to a press release from the Sandwich Fire Department.
At 6:55 p.m. the Sandwich Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle crash in the area of Cape Cod Pediatrics on Route 130, the release said. On arrival, firefighters found a truck rolled over multiple times on its side.
The man, who was alone in the truck, was ejected onto Route 130, the release said.
A medical helicopter from Boston was requested but could not fly due to poor weather conditions, the release said.
Sandwich Fire Department personnel transported the man by ambulance to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth. The man was in critical condition with multi-system traumatic injuries, the release said.
