mexico, where yesterday a robot crashed into the containment cap, closing a cap which disturbed natural pressures. bp closed down the operation, last night they put the cap back on and oil is once again being sucked up from the bottom of the gulf of mexico, we just don t know exactly how much. it had been getting about 15,000, adding to the total of 25,000 it had been capturing the previous days. i believe it was our colleague kerry sanders who said that these people operating the robots are a special group who are trained to handle that robot. reporter: it s basically a brand-new industry, operating this deep, 5,000 feet bolo the gulf of mexico. it s tremendous pressure, you re the eyes and the ears of the robot down below.
