A matter wherein a man allegedly set another man’s buttocks on fire is set to go to trial in the Canouan Magistrate’s Court.
The incident for which 33-year-old Canouan labourer Zorick Hepburn, is charged, allegedly occurred on May 8 at Granby, Canouan.
“According to investigations, the accused man allegedly unlawfully and maliciously inflicted grievous bodily harm(GBH) on a 32-years-old labourer of the same address by setting his buttocks on fire,” a police press release informed.
Taken before Senior Magistrate Rickie Burnett at the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court, Hepburn was charged for grievous bodily harm, as well as damage to property namely, Eliston Caine’s pants and boxers, together valued $EC 80.
