Shannon Leson of Leson’s Funeral Home volunteered his truck and trailer to haul manure to the school for the CCS garden project.
Mr. Nielson, CCS teacher, used his skills to design a digital sketch for the school’s proposed kitchen renovation. The new kitchen will include an industrial cleaning bay with dishwasher, one industrial oven with griddle top, the required venting equipment, four work bays for students that include a sink and conventional oven for each. SHA is deeming all Grade 5 students and staff as close contacts, therefore classes were cancelled for the Grade 5 students at Canora Composite School (CCS) on December 7. Good Spirit will collaborate with SHA and CCS Administration to determine next steps. The Division was to provide information regarding the transition to remote learning, and other pertinent information, during the evening of December 7. “We would like to ensure families that the GSSD facility disinfecting and cleaning protocols have been and will continue to be followed,” reassured Robertson.
