too inls l too insular. it speaks to progressive inside the beltway from massachusetts. i think the point that you re making is that we have a lot of great leaders in our party that will be rising in the next few years. we know the two major figures. steven miller and rob porter. they re ones who have taken the lead in writing there speech. how significant is that in the bigger picture? it is significant because it will show who shows up. will it be the goldman sachs trump who showed up in davos or the gloom and doom disopen theian steven miller? if it is the latter, i think you can declare the trump white house over. this white house is fundamentally broken. it can t do anything right. it hasn t really improved its game and the only reason they
not who are interested in helping d.r.e.a.m.ers to have a path to citizenship. it was in the president s proposal so they re not the only guardians of that issue. also, there are democrats that have been accused of sexual assault while in office as well as republicans and that s a nonpartisan issue. as a woman, this doesn t have a place at the state of the union. i want to see it supported. i am so for the me too movement but i think it is not partisan. i would agree that it is a better idea for democrats to stick to their policy view of what they re really casting as a vision rather than bringing up these issues and owning them solely as political issues. they do not span or belong the one party. what do you want to see in the democratic response? i want to see us coming together as a unified country and it is something that congressman kennedy can do.

to morris point, are they putting up joe kennedy iii? are they putting him up because they don t have another player that they feel can command the imagination of the american people potentially? no. absolutely. it is quite the opposite. congressman kennedy is the future of our party. a young progressive from massachusetts. yes, he is part of the kennedy family but he represents the future. young leaders in our party who will continue to rise and play powerful roles and he is a prime example. i m looking more forward to hearing his optimistic address after the speech. after the state of union than hearing the president s speech. i have to say i m looking forward too. the future of the democratic party is not out of wash d.c. it is in america. that s what democrats need to understand. we lost the race because we were
