Hundreds of Fife children were in isolation last week because of coronavirus – just days after schools in the Kingdom returned after the Easter break.
Figures published by the Scottish Government show that on Thursday April 15, there were 267 pupils across Fife absent from school for any coronavirus related reason.

Three primaries and one nursery is affected. INDIVIDUALS at four local schools were forced to self-isolate after positive cases of coronavirus were confirmed. NHS Fife has revealed that two primary schools in Dunfermline, and a primary and nursery in Kelty, have been affected between Monday and Sunday last week - April 12 to 18. Five or more individuals at Canmore Primary School, Lynburn PS, Kelty PS and Clentry Nursery (Kelty) were required to isolate after contact with a positive case of COVID-19. An NHS Fife spokesperson said: Weekly information is now being published on COVID-19 cases connected to nurseries and schools in Fife.
