think if i read about us. people might have to think there was something there. it just makes our life fairly uncomfortable. we don t live in a way we should do. there have been countless theories about the murder of alistair that it was related to his work at the bank, that its brutality suggested it was the work of a hitman or there was irish paramilitary involvement. police have investigated all of these. but they have drawn a blank on a motive. until now. remember the havelock hotel the pub where veronica ran for help in the minister after alistair was shot? back in 2004 that had been taken over by andy burden. he was 37. his linkedin profile

I’m no conspiracy theorist but the dates on which the UK government does things often makes me wonder, it’s like they’ve got a druid, a witch and other pagans locked in a back room at Westminster! I can see them now stood round a cauldron, totems aplenty advising our ‘leaders’ on how to progress – as one example, the start of the first UK lockdown close to Spring Equinox, the end of current restrictions, Summer Solstice! I always seem to notice that changes seem to be on, or around, the solar festivals, I’m sure the final Brexit talks were on or around Imbolc as well, strange times! I should have written all these dates down really because there have been other instances (and then I could have started a conspiracy theory! Maybe I have!).
Merry Christmas! The yard decorating contest was a huge success. So many lights and airborne wiggles throughout the town. The winners have been declared: first place, Jim and Shantel Higgins; second place, Ora Rathbone; third place, Roger and Nancy Holcomb. Honorable mention includes Jonathan and Candy Burden, Bessie Mortensen, Kevin and Denise Roche, and Joe and Julie Shinkle.
A big thank you to the efforts and to the fun the above group has given to the community this year. Be sure to take a drive around and enjoy the displays.
The Santa Box located at the firehouse has been busy â keep it full. Thanks to those helpers also, and to all of you, for watching over neighbors and including them in your fun.
