Special Election House District 2: Early voting ends Saturday, polls open on Tuesday In Virginia’s House District 2, Voters in Prince William and Stafford counties will head to the polls on Tuesday to vote for a candidate to fill the seat held by Jennifer Carroll Foy, who stepped down this month to focus on her run for governor. Heather Mitchell, who ran against Carrol Foy in 2019, is again vying for the seat for the Republicans. Political newcomer Candi King hopes to win the seat to keep it in the hands of Democrats. Early voting is also underway for the election. As of Wednesday morning, a total of 235 voters had already cast their ballots in both counties.
