A Spartanburg man received a 32-year prison sentence Monday for shooting his wife to death.
Adrian D. McClintock, 44, pleaded guilty to murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.
SAA announces 2021 Annual Juried Show award winners

The Scituate Arts Association announced 21 award winners at the SAA’s Annual Juried Show.
This year’s awards are being shared on the SAA and Gallery websites at https://scituateartsassociation.com and https://frontstreetartgallery.com, respectively, as large gatherings are still not an option due to COVID-19.
On April 7, awards totaling over $1,000 were selected. The prizes were made possible by the event’s three business supporters: Janet Cornacchio and Jack Conway, of Scituate, and Coastal Heritage Bank and Frame Center, of Hanover.
The accepted works and award winners were chosen by jurors Michelle Clarke, a Hanover artist and Best in Show winner at the SAA s 2019 Juried Show; Nan Daly, whose memories of growing up along the Hudson and in the Catskills of New York provide much of the imagery of her abstract paintings; and Margaret McWethy, who is an impressionist painter with

Hunter Bullock, 19, received the David Clark and the Coach Bill Lake Scholarships. The Chocowinity resident is working toward an Associate in Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology. The son of Robbie and Stacy Bullock, he attended Southside High School. He currently works as a perishable associate at Food Lion and plans to perform maintenance at an industry.
