elective, we think of a tummy tuck or something like that. that includes cancer surgeries. that includes hernia repair. that includes hip replacement. is that what you re having to do at your hospital? yeah, so we had actually started postponing many of those procedures even well in advance of the governor s order. it is a very acute patient need that is troubling us now. so we are not postponing procedures that are truly urgent and lifesaving and needed right now. and that s what we are seeing. so we re not seeing as many of the routine procedures. we have deferred all of those. but we are really seeing acute needs. we re also very concerned with postponing some things that are not necessarily essential but have been postponed quite a bit during the pandemic, which means that patients are not getting that preventive care. and then when the illness does
