A 63-year-old woman in Oakland County, Michigan, is accused of child abuse after her young grandson, whom she reported missing, was found with injuries, police said.
The elderly Orion Township resident told deputies Monday that she noticed that her 12-year-old grandson was missing from their trailer home on Canary Hill Drive and that the back door had been open when she woke up that morning, ClickOnDetroit reported, citing authorities. She claimed that the child was under her custody and that he had run away before.

ORION TOWNSHIP, Mich. – An
Orion Township man was arrested for beating his pregnant girlfriend after a neighbor saw the woman trying to escape through a window of the mobile home, only to be pulled back in, according to police.
Oakland County deputies were called to a mobile home in the 30 block of Canary Hill Drive at 10:21 a.m. Friday (March 5).
A neighbor called police and told them a woman had made several attempts to exit the mobile home, only to be pulled back inside, deputies said.
