The Canadian Grain Commission is reminding growers of the following changes coming into effect for the Canadian agriculture sector in eastern Canada.
Producers and grain companies in eastern Canada will have an additional year to implement the declaration of eligibility, which was a requirement under the Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA).

Eastern Canada originally received an exemption for this requirement until July 1, 2021, and the exemption has now been extended until July 1, 2022.
