Toronto, June 24 (IANS) With new Indian students increasingly becoming victims of ignorance about Canadian laws, the Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce (ICCC) is taking up the matter with the Immigration Minister to address the problem.
The Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce is approaching the Immigration Minister regarding the rampant ignorance among Indian students about Canadian laws, which are costing students and certain Indo-Canadians dearly. The ICCC are urging the Immigration Minister to add an acknowledgment form to students admission forms, whereby Indian students and their families must sign to say they have read basic Canadian laws, and understand the consequences should they be violated.
