Categories include the traditional business category, which is for locally-focused ideas such as products, services, or restaurants; the technology business category, sponsored by Avista Corp., for products and software that involve intellectual property; and the Perkins Coie open business category, in which student team members may choose additional team members who are graduate students, faculty, or community members.
