On Wednesday, Nellie Gorbea’s campaign criticized Governor Dan McKee for failing to require masks in Rhode Island schools and the McKee campaign through spokesman Mike Trainor responded with a statement that raised more questions than answers.
constituency. and right now she s really trying to appeal to those voters. and according to the quinnipiac poll released this week, she has 70% of support as opposed to ben carson. carson has 19%. that s enough to win the election if held today. so how much more of an effort needs to be made to feel comfortable with the black vote? yeah, 73 sounds high. but historically, george bush in 2004 was the last republican presidential candidate to actually get into double digits with african-american voters. and so that would be a really problematic figure for hillary clinton. so, part of the problem is a head-to-head with ben carson. clinton does better against other republican candidates. but she is certainly trying to sort of make up for her 2008 campaign stumbles in south carolina, where president clinton bill clinton made some racially tinged remarks that really alienated people there. so hillary clinton right now is
sacrificed a lot. if we re all supposed to answer hypothetical questions, knowing what we know now, what would you have done i would have not have gone into iraq. so why did the week evolve like it did and is this now over for jeb bush or will it continue to be an obstacle for him and fodder for republican rivals? well this is always going to be a difficult question for jeb bush. the about your maim is tied so innately to the iraq war that i think it s very hard to detangle the two and this is always going to be a hard question. he said he didn t understand the first time. the second time he tried just not to answer it. and then the third time he finally came out and said if i have to answer this then i m going to give you a definitely no i wouldn t have done it. but i think that that s part of the trick here. i don ten if it s over for jeb bush but certainly other candidates have already come out strankly and ly strongly and said they wouldn t have gone into iraq. and i think ca
