Barrister Abba Bello Haliru, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) House of Representatives candidate for Birnin Kebbi/Kalgo/Bunza Federal Constituency, has reportedly died. The PDP Governorship Campaign Council Director-General, Alhaji Abubakar Shehu, confirmed his death on Friday, saying he died after a brief illness. This is coming barely 49 days to the conduct of the 2023 general elections. General elections will be held in Nigeria on 25 February 2023 to elect the President and Vice President and members of the Senate and House of Representatives.
